Are you a student passionate about electronics, robotics, automation, and marketing? Apply for the RoboFuse Open Call#1 and get the chance to win a €2500 grant.

We aim to increase students’ interest in innovation by supporting the deployment of various projects using the Robofuse platform. As part of the RoboFuse platform, a variety of tools, technologies, SDKs, APIs, and protocols are available to create a variety of IoT solutions.

RoboFuse’s first call offers a €2500 grant for students to build a functional weather station used for collecting local climate and environmental data.

Apply between January 27th, 2023, and February 15, 2023

Participating over the years as a team in different research projects and open calls, we’ve learned that the networks and resources provided to grantees can be just as important as money. In fact, just the process of applying for a grant is a learning experience in itself. We recommend everyone apply for at least one research grant before they defend their dissertation proposals.

Within the RoboFuse Open Call #1 opportunity, you get:

Are you a student passionate about software//hardware, electronics, robotics, automation, and marketing? The RoboFuse grant could be for you.

• Build as a team or build alone. Either is fine. Just bring your passion in.
• Students who are about to finish their studies in 2023 are eligible, too.
• The project team (1 or more members) must include at least 1 student from a tech specialization.
• Teams must be able to attend physical meetings at the RoboFuse headquarters in Sibiu.
• All results must be Open Source.

Submission to the RoboFuse Open Call #1 will be open between January 27th, 2023, and February 15, 2023.

Here are other important aspects of the project:

• Build a weather station for collecting local climate and environmental data.
• Collect weather data using a variety of sensors.
• Store data with a ready-to-use IoT platform – Robofuse.
