FAQ
Do we have to sign a long-term contract?
There’s no contract at all. Just pay month-to-month if you want. You can cancel any time without penalty.
Can we change our package and add advanced modules later?
Of course, any time you want.
Do you offer discounts for annual plan?
Yes, we offer a two-month discount if you choose the annual subscription. We also provide special offers for partners and educational institutions.
Is the evaluation package really free?
Yes! The Evaluation package comes with 3 devices with full feature set.
What payment options are there?
You can pay by full bank transfer. Details are on the invoice. Credit card and PayPal payment options are coming shortly.
Do you have cancellation fees?
We don’t have any cancellation fees. You can cancel whenever you want. If you cancel, you’ll be billed for the current month, but you won’t be billed again.
Who owns my data?
You do! It’s your data after all.
What is counted as a device?
We count all the devices that are managed from RoboFuse.
For example, assume you take a Raspberry Pi and connect a bunch of sensors to it, you would have one device regardless of the number of sensors. If you connect ten smart temperature connected through a Wi-Fi gateway, and you manage both the Wi-Fi gateway and the smart meters from RoboFuse, you would have eleven devices.
What is counted as inbound data transfer?
Inbound Data Transfer refers to the total number of requests performed to transfer data into the RoboFuse Platform. This includes sensor readings, alarms, events and operations are transferred between devices and the RoboFuse platform using the REST and/or MQTT interfaces.
A request could also originate from a custom microservice, website or any other client.
